Abundant marine life and stunning seascapes are plentiful at Swanage Pier. In the summer the pier legs are covered with marine life, including sponges, seaweed of all colours, sea-squirts, anemones and hydroids. There are lots of fish including wrasse, Tom-pot blennies, gobies, and large, swirling shoals, as well as crabs, lobsters and cuttle fish.
